Brand Launch & Strategy
BPE is an entrepreneurial law firm working with entrepreneurial businesses and individuals. I was a member of the creative team responsible for the launch of their new Business People Brilliant People brand. We wanted to show that BPE is an integral part of a business team. They work with brilliant people and together achieve great things. It’s all about building relationships. So many service industries talk about what they do and don’t show what they do. Showing your strengths through the eyes of your clients is a powerful message, so that’s what we did and what we continue to do.
I wrote and implemented the marketing strategy to promote the law firm’s new brand across the region during its first year of implementation. This included events, sponsorships, direct mail and PR, concepts and copywriting for all campaigns, advertising, direct mail, editorial and general support to help BPE open new doors in various industry sectors.

We shot some great video testimonials of BPE’s clients explaining why they use the law firm. Simple, but so effective. I wrote the scripts and co-ordinated these. I’ve shown two of them below, but to see these on the BPE website click here.
Advertising Campaigns: concepts & copywriting
The advertising campaigns highlight the relationship between lawyer and client and work on the brilliant people business people premise; BPE works with brilliant, entrepreneurial people because they’re more than just lawyers, they are a fundamental part of a business team. Jamie Rudd and I worked together on these campaigns as an art director, copywriter team.
Launch Event: concept, copywriting & co-ordination
BPE launched their new brand to clients and key partners at an event held at Manor by the Lake in Cheltenham. I came up with ‘The Big Reveal’ theme for the brand launch party, which I co-ordinated. It was an amazing evening.We booked Jim Lawless for the launch event. He is an exceptional speaker and advises companies globally on creating cultural change and elite teams. He had our audience spellbound and truly epitomises the Business People Brilliant People brand. Of course we gave away some great goody bags, the line on the front of the bags was ‘Just do it’ to reinforce Jim’s message and the great ‘can do’ attitude of BPE and the room was decked out with images of both BPE clients and their lawyers, highlight the relationships between them. Since then Jim has taken on the role of non exec Chairman at BPE and will be working with us to further embed the brand.
I’d invited regional & business press along to the event and we had some fantastic coverage for quite some time, including build up editorial prior to the event which made it a ticket everyone wanted.
My role: Brand launch marketing strategy, concept and copywriting of all brand advertising campaigns, copy writing of all BPE marketing literature, launch event concept, co-ordination and management, management of all BPE client testimonial videos and editing – regional PR and sponsorships, overall responsibility of marketing and promoting new brand for the first year.
