How do you turn a ‘new office launch’ event into something that clients and more importantly prospect clients want to attend?  You need an idea that’s ‘sticky’ something that piques interest.

Event concept, co-ordination & copywriting, charity fundraising

I didn’t want the event to be a suited, booted, champagne drinking affair, but a rustic, down to earth evening of like minded people coming together for an evening full of innovative spirit.

Headlining the event was Rob Rees MBE who founded The Wiggly Worm charity and Ed Swarez, global selling artist.  The Client was a law firm who’s Business People Brilliant People brand is all about the great things that happen when enterprising people work together.

The event was held at the back of Ed’s Gallery in an unconverted warehouse and was set up to echo the earlier invites, rustic and informal.  We’d ordered barrels of beer, the tables had hessian cloths and the boards were printed on a rough, brown paper style background.  The video we’d taken previously at a food poverty pop up, showing Rob and his team in action played in black and white on a huge screen. Guests were served dinner from the Charity’s incredible 1960’s Citroen H van which has been transformed into a food pop up.

It was a brilliant night.  Twitter went crazy @wigglycharity @BPE_Solicitors #nochildhungrygloucestershire and because a number of key journalists had agreed to attend we were guaranteed some great editorial coverage in the press.
